New paper on saccadic selection of visuospatial working memory contents

We are happy to announce that our paper on saccadic selection of visuospatial working memory contents has been published in Consciousness and Cognition.

Eye movements help to prioritize information processing in cluttered visual scenes. Specifically, stimuli presented at the future saccade goal are preferentially encoded and maintained in visual short-term memory. In this paper, we show that an eye movement does not only enhance fragile memory traces of items presented at its landing position, but even benefits stabilized working memory contents.
